Located in Anderson, SC, Kid City’s Sports Camp offers a variety of themed weeks filled with exciting activities that will keep your kids active and engaged all summer long.
Registration for ‘Sports Camp Eras’ opens on May 1st, allowing you to register for individual weeks of sports-filled fun. If you’re looking for a full-time summer activity, registration is available now on our website. Part-timers can also “extend their fun at sports camp” into the summer camp event, ensuring a seamless transition from one exciting adventure to the next.
Week 1 (June 3-7, Ages 6+) starts with a bang at Kid City’s Superhero Training Camp (60’s)! Let your kids unleash their inner heroes with thrilling obstacle courses and exciting adventures. This week is all about tapping into their superpowers and having a blast! The cost is $125, with a special rate of $60 for full-time summer campers.
Week 2 (June 10-14, Ages 4+) is Peace Love Gymnastics Camp (70’s), offering a groovy experience for just $125 ($65 for summer campers)! This week, we’re diving into a special tie-dye art project alongside our gymnastics fun. Want to extend the fun? Add on trips to the swimming pool at the Y and a bowling adventure! Our extended camp hours from 7 am to 6:30 pm make it a total of $225 for the week. Don’t miss Friday’s finale with an exciting gymnastics performance!
Week 3 (June 17-21, Ages 6+) is when Rockin’ Cheer Camp (80’) takes center stage at Kid City, where kids can learn cheers, stunts, and dances that will have them cheering all summer long. The cost is $125 ($65 for summer campers). Extend your camp experience by adding swimming, a glow party, and a trip to the C&C arcade for extra excitement! Extended camp hours from 7 am to 6:30 pm make it a total of $225 for the week. Get ready for a week filled with spirit and fun!
Week 4 (June 22-26, Ages 6+) is Super Mario Ninja Camp! Join a-me Mario for an unforgettable adventure as we turn the gym into the mushroom kingdom. Extend your journey into the 90s week at our ooey gooey field trip featuring slime games (double dare obstacle course). Extended camp is available to add slime field day field trip and swimming. (The cost of the extended camp is $225.)
Week 5 (July 8-12, Ages 4+) is our Golden Era Gymnastics Camp! This week is Olympic meets all things glitter and gold-themed camp will have your gymnast go for the gold! 24 karat crafts combined with a winning soundtrack will make for the best closing ceremony performance of all time. Don’t worry; there won’t be any losers because everyone wins the GOLD at this camp! Extend your camp to add a treasure hunt at the Anderson Museum and KidVenture splash pad. (The extended camp cost is $225.)
Week 6 (July 15-19, Ages 6+) brings an exciting fusion of camp activities, including gymnastics, cheer, and acro tumble, for our Red Hot Combo Camp! We have the best way to celebrate all things ‘Merica! Campers will create high-flying crafts and create their own red, white, and FABULOUS costumes for their end-of-week show. Extend Camp with a trip to the fire station, pizza lunch with a police officer, and a foam party. (The extended camp cost is $225.)
Week 7 (July 22-26, Ages 6+) is our Passport to Paris era! Our tiny dancers will embark on a double adventure with the Olympics around the corner. They’ll tour magical Parisian sites, paint at the Eiffel Tower, enjoy pastries and tea in gardens, and even do the can-can! Plus, in honor of Taylor Swift touring in Paris, we’ll groove to some of her hit songs. Extend your passport adventure with a trip to the library for storytime and games, as well as a visit to the splash pad at Carolina Wren Park! (The extended camp cost is $225.)
